Veggie Eater

It is not often that I fare better at a BBQ joint than the Meat Eater, but I did here. There is inventiveness with the sides that is generally absent in most BBQ establishments. The Mac and cheese was cool upon arrival, but made with a nice roux based sauce and the noodles were well cooked. The Kentucky Spicy Cole Slaw did have a little zip to it. The blue cheese sweet potatoes were an unexpected delight (so much so that one of our dining companions made attempts to duplicate the dish at home within the week). But the true gem was the potato cake with Russian dressing. The texture of the cake was akin to a crab cake (at least what I remember crab cakes to be like); it was chunky. The exterior was perfectly browned and crisped, allowing for a beautiful juxtaposition of textures. The Russian dressing added additional flavor, but I just as happily ate my cake without it. On the second visit, I strayed away from the sides and opted for a salad and guacamole instead. The succotash salad was chock full of arugula (my most favorite green ever), lima beans, cherry tomatoes, and summer squash. I found the summer squash a bit weird as it was raw. I’m sure raw food folks will extol the virtues of raw squash, but I find it kind of bland. The limas on the other hand were wonderful; tender little baby beans. The dressing was woefully stingy on acid and salt. I was able to rectify the salt issue at the table, but not the acid issue. The Guacamole was fresh and served with fresh fried flour tortilla chips. You could tell the chips were just fried by the grease dripping off of them. They needed a bit more tending to once taken out of the fryer; really, give them a few decisive shakes once out and a few moments to dry a bit before sending them out; it makes all the difference in the world. I could probably be coerced into returning to get another potato cake, but I don’t think I’ll be called upon anytime soon by my meat eating comrades.

Are you Dreaming or tripping?

Under any drug influence, did you ever experience a trip from out of this world? Have you ever felt like your flying like a plane or feeling like your body is part of a ball of fireworks exploding every which way? If you think that’s impossible you haven’t heard of the newest and craziest drug out there today. And to top it off, it’s absolutely legal.

I wonder how long it will take the government to make this illegal but until that’s happen many of us won’t be able to control our curiosity to take advantage of this sensational trip to remember forever. Some have called it euphoric, tripping without real visions, you will hallucinate with extreme spiritual visions, some have reported feeling like a plane soaring the sky, You might feel like your floating, or will it be just another way to feel like your dreaming or just a good old fun mind boggling trip??

Whoever wants to know, it’s a Mexican herb called salvia divinorum or diviner’s sage. It’s used by shamans seeking spiritual visions and anyone who just want to see hallucinations. The plant grows in the area of Oaxaca which is south west of Mexico City. I heard it’s similar to the drug marijuana and looks like it to. The drug high is similar to marijuana but very different at the same time. Salvia is a hallucinogenic drug that is so strong and very effective, so be careful if you decide to try it. It’s an unusual and not widely popular which means it hasn’t been “abused” yet. But its rapid popularity and easy available, and don’t forget cheap, might change the outcome of this drug.

The drug Salvia is a member of the mint family and was almost extinct from the destruction of tropical forests. It is growing all over the planet, and is easily maintained either in gardens, indoors or outdoors. Unlike marijuana, Salvia requires no power of halogen lights or fancy hydroponics. It can be grown by anyone who has kept Mom’s African Violets alive on the bookshelf. I don’t know about anyone else but I can’t even keep African violets alive.

This is a new and fast growing popular new drug that is suppose to provide a trip like no other. Some people are growing Salvia and the internet has zoomed a full enclopedia on this new drug on many websites, they are being sold as seed and the dried leaves to almost every state and country, This plant is like mescaline and magic (psilocybin) mushrooms where its recreational use never really became as popular.

Salvia leaves contain a substance called Salvinorin-A, which is supposed to be the most powerful hallucinogen known to science even more potent than LSD. You can chew it, smoke it or put it under your tongue.

If you ever experience LSD or “magic mushrooms,” Salvia goes beyond any of these Trips, many people who have tried Salvia swear to never use it again. It’s very powerful and the effects are extreme, so think twice before you go beyond this world and experience the trip that is supposed to be out of this universe.

The problem with cheap laptops is that you never know what you are gonna get, like I mean the laptop may look perfect but after you bring it home you find yourself to be disappointed. So that is why you have to do your proper research before going out or online to buy from the huge variety of cheap laptops. That is why im just going to write some tips here for the very new shoppers, for the rest of you this post most probably will annoy you and will appear extremely lame.

List-a-Lot: Im sure not all of you are hardcore gamers and not all are casual browsers. So everyone’s expectations from their laptops are different. So before buying a laptop make a list of the things you will need a laptop for. (This tip was so obvious that I dont even know why I mentioned this here.)

Game Much? Like I mentioned in the above tip you should buy the laptop according to your needs. If you are a gamer then obviously an Intel Celeron laptop will not work for you even if it is one of the cheapest laptops you could find, similarly for gaming purposes you will need a dedicated graphics chip and s whole lot of RAM.
If you don’t play games on your laptop then yours will definitely be a cheap laptop, even the very basic specifications will be more than enough for you. For the non-gamers buying a core 2 duo laptop with 4GB RAM and a dedicated graphics chip will be a waste of money. (Reality Tip: If you are a gamer and are looking for cheap gaming laptops then you should stop right here because gaming laptops are not cheap, they’re just not. If you do find an extremely cheap gaming laptop the chances are that its defective and might explode in your lap.)

Watch your Budget: Laptops are now available in different prices. So you should choose for a laptop that is within your low budget and not look at the skies when buying a laptop. It will only disappoint and hurt you. Seriously I’ve been through this before when you have a low budget dont even go to the expensive section. Just discretely note down the models of the expensive laptops and use Google to check them out. This method is tested and it keeps your self esteem high.

Use Online Shops: I’ve already mentioned the benefits of online shopping and I’m sure most of my readers are already aware of the other benefits ;) So I wont mention them here again.

Do Your Research: At this point I don’t have anything else to write about and I’ll just keep on repeating the same stuff I already mentioned in this article. So if you read till here then I believe that I have wasted quite a lot of your time and won’t waste any more of it. If you want to read some actual cheap laptops or refurbished laptops articles then read the articles below. I wrote this because I had nothing else to write about the topic of this blog. Hope I didnt annoy you too much :)
